With guest speaker Suzanne Collier from bookcareers.com
How is pay in the publishing industry changing? This month Suzanne Collier from bookcareers.com will discuss her findings from surveys of the publishing workforce in the UK and the implications for our sector.
Topline findings from the latest survey from 2021 showed that while average overall pay has gone up over the past four years, the disparity between entry-level and overall pay has grown, men are still being paid more than women and employers still have much to do on diversity.
Suzanne will take us through the details and how we can use this to inform our research into pay in the Magazines sector specifically.
There will be time for questions and discussion, to be followed by branch business (see below).
