SAVE THE DATE: NUJ London Magazine & London Freelance Winter Party – Tuesday 10 December, 6.30pm

3rd December 2024 By hello

NUJ LMB & LFB Winter Party

Dear Colleague,

It’s party time! Come and wrap up the year with us.

Join us for a Winter Social on Tuesday 10 December from 6.30-9 pm at St Anne’s Church Hall, 55 Dean Street, Soho WID 6AF [Map]

We’re jointly hosting this event with the London Freelance branch so you can enjoy a buzzing party with other journos, photographers and union members in a vibrant West End venue.

In solidarity with striking journalists at the Guardian and Observer, we’ve invited their freelancers to join and update us on the planned strikes (Dec 4&5 and Dec 12&13). There’ll be vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options, as well as a variety of soft and alcoholic drinks – and even some mulled wine to warm your cockles!

St Anne’s is fully accessible for wheelchair users. Let us know if you have any special requirements.

Members – please RSVP by 9 December at editor@londonfreelance.org , indicating which branch you belong to, so we can keep track of numbers for catering.

We look forward to seeing you!

Cheers,
London Magazine & London Freelance branches Team 🥂

The NUJ is committed to organising events at which everyone can participate in an inclusive, respectful and safe space. Please support us in creating an environment where everyone feels able to be involved and have an enjoyable time.

About London Magazine Branch

Branches are where members can regularly have their say on the union’s policies and activities. It is the branches rather than the chapels (workplace groups) that elect delegates and send motions to the union’s annual conference. Read more
